1. Introduction

At WIPPASS, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our platform or use our services as an Organizer, Attendee, or Affiliate.

2. Information We Collect

Account Data: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.
Financial Data: Bank account details (processed securely via Paystack) to facilitate payouts. WIP PASS does not store full credit card numbers.
Attendee Data: When you RSVP or buy a ticket, we collect your name, email, and phone number on behalf of the Event Organizer.

3. Important Note on Biometric Data

To prevent ticket fraud, some events require Biometric Authentication (FaceID / Fingerprint). WIP PASS never captures, stores, or transmits your actual biometric data. We use WebAuthn technology, which verifies your identity locally on your device and sends us an encrypted "Yes/No" token. Your face and fingerprint stay safely on your phone.

4. How We Use Your Information

To generate and deliver digital entrance passes (QR codes) via Email or WhatsApp.
To process transactions, calculate affiliate commissions, and disburse payouts.
To provide Organizers with an Audience CRM, allowing them to communicate with you regarding the event or future events.
To prevent fraud, duplicate ticket usage, and malicious activity at the gate.

5. Data Sharing & Organizers

When you purchase a ticket or RSVP to an event, you consent to sharing your contact information with the Event Organizer. Organizers use this data for their own CRM, marketing, and event operations. WIP PASS is not responsible for the privacy practices of individual Event Organizers.

6. Your Data Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., NDPR, GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may unsubscribe from Organizer marketing emails at any time. To request data deletion from the WIP PASS core database, please contact our support team.
